Usually on the weekends, we can never find something to do! (we're THAT cool!) So Jared brought up going to Monster Jams... I think he was mostly joking, but I was all for it! I had never been before, and I thought that would be something different for us to do.
It was pretty exciting for me... Definitely a childhood experience I still needed to live. And I must say, the "people watching" was pretty intense.
So thanks to Jared for coming up with a fun date night for us! There's nothing like some loud monster trucks and a few hundred hicks to get the night started!!

Another Day at the CU!
It’s times like these that I really need to remind myself how blessed I am to have a job…
As most of you know, I work at a Credit Union, and yesterday was the work day from hell! We were already short-handed and it was one thing after another all day long… and then of course came our *perfect ending to our perfect day*
Some sweet woman (luckily she was one of the sweet ones) brought in THIS many bonds. To put this into perspective for you, it probably takes at least 60-75 seconds to process one single bond. Needless to say, it took 5 of us to finish them, and we were able to finally leave our hell-hole almost an hour after closing.
So, here I am, reminding myself how grateful I am for my job!!! This is a blessing that many people across the country right now lack. And on top of it all, I TRULY work with the greatest people. The fact that we can have such a crappy day and then leave laughing about it is a blessing!

The Wait...
Well, as many of you know, Jared took the LSAT last year and finally applied for law schools in November...
He has heard bad news from a few of the law schools already... BUT, luckily we haven't heard back from the University of Utah or BYU...! We are desperately hoping that is a GOOD sign!!
I know that whatever will happen will be for the best... things most certainly happen for a reason. So, if he doesn't get into any schools of his choice this year, then perhaps we'll stick around for a little longer and apply again next year. We shall see!
I know it is SO hard to get into law schools these days, what with all these students wanting to be lawyers, and the horrible economy the past few years... But we're hoping that he'll be one of the lucky ones!
So... if it's not too much to ask, we're hoping that you will keep us in your thoughts and prayers for the next little while... Hopefully we'll be able to stay in Utah with friends and family!
