What Trip Next... Hmm

So... I've been trying to think of what I could write my next blog about, but my mind is too preoccupied-- Where are we going to go for our two year anniversary in July!  [Yes, I realize that is kind of far away, but I need something to look forward to!]

We decided a while ago that we are going to plan at least one relatively big trip each year... usually around our anniversary.  We both need something to look forward to [with all this school and work going on] and we both agree that we should travel as much as possible before starting a family.  Plus... Jared will be starting law school this fall [Hopefully!! Keep your fingers crossed for us!] so we need a good vaca before!

For our honeymoon, we spent a week in gorgeous Cancun at the Dreams Resort & Spa... Absolutely the most beautiful place I've ever been.  and might I remind you that it was all-inclusive!  Heaven sent...  I dream about it *all* the time.

outside our *VIP* tower
B-E-A-utiful Cancun!
For our first anniversary last year, we spent a little less than a week in beautiful Kauai, Hawaii at the Sheraton Kauai Resort.  Kauai is a very beautiful island, that's for sure!  We loved everything about that vacation, but I must say I definitely missed the all-inclusive aspect [like we had in Cancun].

at our resort... so fun!
is there anything more beautiful than a Hawaiian sunset?
So this year, we want to go somewhere new.  But where to go??  We were possibly thinking about going to Puerto Vallarta or Cabo San Lucas.  I know, I know... We've already been to Mexico.  BUT, the flight is so quick!  And come on, it's MEXICO!

I've heard from a few people that Puerto Vallarta isn't very pretty in mid-late summer [and we'd be going the end of July], so we're thinking maybe Cabo.  We found a resort that we fell in love with, it's the Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas... aaand... it's all-inclusive!

What do you think?  Should we go to Cabo, or should we go somewhere else??  Suggestions?

What Makes You A *Runner*???

Let's just say... I'm not a huge fan of running.

At least not yet.

I have been "running" [my version of running at least] since probably around may.2010... And I've just started really pushing myself to run at least three times a week.  Here's the thing ~ somehow, my family has decided to force me [okay, maybe not force, but I like that word best] to sign up for the Wasatch Back Ragnar race in July.2011.  For those of you who don't know what that is, be grateful.

Short version -- it's a relay race between groups of 12 runners, and the 12 runners total 188 miles [or something inhumane like that].

here. now pity me.

So far, I'm a tad bit concerned about this.  I have actually gotten a little better... if you consider being able to run three miles PLUS a few minutes of walking better.  But for some reason, I'm not thinking that will cut it [3 miles vs 188 miles = problems].

Almost everyone in my family is a runner, so I must have the genes right??

I think I just need some motivation... ahem.  I know I can do this... I'm pretty sure I'll eventually be able to do this... Shoot, can I really truly do this?!!

Blogging...Round Two

Well... here I am, once again, attempting to start a blog.  I guess I could have just changed my old one I had a few years ago... but I would have to be able to ~FIND~ it first.  But since I don't exactly remember what it was named, I thought I'd just start fresh!
Let's just say, it's been a task!  I thought I was a pretty tech-savvy girl, but this experience has for sure humbled me [or in other words, frustrated the heck outta me!] !  I have been trying to upload new awesome fonts onto my blogger to no avail.  So... if anyone out there has any tips for someone who definitely does ~NOT~ understand HTML codes, you'd sure be my hero!
